台湾6日目。 この日は台風通過の真っ只中で、外は激しい風と雨が吹き荒れています。看板が倒れているところもあり、うかつに外出するのは危険そうです。 そのため、今日はなるべく大人しく過ごそうと思います。
Day 6 in Taiwan. Today we're right in the middle of a typhoon passing through, with fierce winds and rain battering the outside. Some signs have been knocked down, and it seems dangerous to go out carelessly. Therefore, I plan to stay indoors and take it easy today.
台灣第六天。這天正值颱風過境期間，屋外狂風暴雨肆虐。有些地方的招牌被吹倒了，隨意外出似乎相當危險。因此，今天打算盡量安分地待著。
朝ごはんは、昨日買っておいた「粽子（ちまき）」を家で大人しく食べることにしました。これがまた、予想以上に美味しい！ 何を食べてもハズレがない、これぞまさに台湾！
For breakfast, I decided to quietly eat the “zongzi” I bought yesterday at home. And this was unexpectedly delicious! No matter what you eat, there's never a miss—this is Taiwan at its best!
早餐決定在家安靜地吃昨天買好的「粽子」。沒想到竟比預期中更美味！無論吃什麼都絕不踩雷，這才是真正的台灣！
今日は何も予定を入れず大人しくしているつもりでした。しかし、近所の市役所に連絡してみたところ、なんとこの嵐の中でも開いているとのこと！ そこで、残っている用事を済ませに行くことにしました。
I had planned to keep things quiet today without scheduling anything. However, when I contacted the local city hall, they said they were actually open even in this storm! So, I decided to go finish up the remaining errands.
今天本打算什麼行程都不安排，安分守己地待著。然而，我試著聯絡了附近的市政府，沒想到他們竟在暴風雨中照常營業！於是，我決定去處理剩下的待辦事項。
市役所に行ってみると、悪天候の影響で驚くほどガラガラでした。 職員の方々も少し手持ち無沙汰だったのか、とても親切に対応してくれました。しかし、ここで問題が発生！ 中国語入力のキーボードを渡されたものの、打ち方が全く分からず、固まってしまいました。でも、それも親切な職員の方が代わりに入力してくれたおかげで、無事に助かりました。
When I went to city hall, it was surprisingly empty due to the bad weather. Perhaps the staff were a bit bored, but they were very kind and helpful. But then a problem arose! They handed me a Chinese input keyboard, but I had no idea how to type on it and froze up. But thanks to the kind staff member who typed it in for me, I was saved.
前往市政府時，發現因惡劣天氣影響，大廳竟空蕩得令人吃驚。職員們或許也有些無所事事，因此格外親切地接待了我。然而問題在此刻發生！雖然對方遞來中文輸入鍵盤，但我完全不知如何操作，頓時僵在原地。幸虧那位熱心的職員主動代為輸入，才讓我順利脫困。
市役所での用事も無事に終わり、帰る前にトイレに寄ったのですが、そこで驚きの光景に遭遇しました！ なんと、「和式トイレ」です。 これを見るのは、一体何年振りでしょうか。ここで用を足そうかとも思いましたが……正直、うまくこなせる自信がなかったので、今回はやめておきました。
After successfully finishing my business at city hall, I stopped by the restroom before heading home—only to encounter a surprising sight! It was a traditional Japanese-style squat toilet. How many years had it been since I last saw one? I briefly considered using it... but honestly, I wasn't confident I could manage it, so I decided against it this time.
在市政府辦完事後，回程前順道去了趟洗手間，卻目睹了令人驚訝的景象！竟然是「和式馬桶」。這究竟是睽違多少年才再見到呢？雖然也曾考慮在此如廁⋯⋯但老實說，實在沒把握能順利完成，這次還是作罷了。
帰る前に、時差ボケのせいか変な時間にお腹が空いてしまいました。 そこで、市役所の隣にあった「サイゼリヤ」に入ってみることに。日本ではおなじみのお店ですが、実は私、これが人生初のサイゼリヤ体験です。値段が安いのはもちろんですが、味もなかなか美味しくてびっくり。 「えっ、この値段で本当にいいの？」と、その満足度の高さに感動してしまいました。
Before heading home, I got hungry at an odd hour—probably due to jet lag. So I decided to try Saizeriya, located next to City Hall. It's a familiar chain in Japan, but this was actually my first time ever eating there. Not only was the price affordable, but I was surprised by how tasty the food was. “Wait, is this really okay for this price?” I was genuinely impressed by how satisfying it was.
返程前，或許是時差的緣故，竟在奇怪的時間點感到飢腸轆轆。於是走進了市公所隔壁的「Saizeriya」。這家在日本家喻戶曉的餐廳，對我而言卻是人生初體驗。價格低廉自不待言，連味道也意外地美味，令人驚豔。「咦？這價格真的沒問題嗎？」面對如此高滿足度，不禁感動不已。
マンションに戻った私は、備え付けのFree Wi-Fiを利用して、夜はPC作業に没頭しようと意気込んでいました。が、しかし……。この超低速なWi-Fiは一体何ごとなんでしょうか。 遅すぎて、これでは全く作業が進みません。とはいえ、他にネットに繋ぐ手段もなく……。 結局、回線の遅さに耐えながら、牛歩のごとくゆっくりと作業を進めるしかありませんでした。
Back at my apartment, I was all fired up to dive into some PC work that night using the free Wi-Fi provided. But then... What on earth is this super slow Wi-Fi? It's so slow I can't get any work done at all. Still, I had no other way to connect to the internet... In the end, I had no choice but to endure the slow connection and plod along at a snail's pace.
回到公寓的我，本打算利用附設的免費Wi-Fi，在夜晚埋首於電腦工作。然而……這超慢速的Wi-Fi究竟是怎麼回事？慢得根本無法推進任何工作。話雖如此，卻也沒有其他上網方式……最終只能忍受著網速遲滯，像牛步般緩慢地推進工作。
