November in New York City 8 Aru Aru Moments

November in New York — the calendar fills up fast, and somehow every weekend turns into the same little moments. Here are 8 of them. Sound familiar?

① Marathon Sunday

You came to cheer for one runner... and end up cheering for everyone. "I came for one runner. Now I'm cheering for everyone."

② Election Day Sticker

You vote, you get the sticker, and of course it goes in the selfie. "Yes, the sticker is going in the selfie."

③ Veterans Day Parade

You hear the drums two blocks away before you even see the parade. "I heard the drums from two blocks away."

④ Winter Village Detour

You only came for a hot chocolate... and leave with shopping bags. "I only came for a hot chocolate."

⑤ Balloon Inflation Night

The parade balloons look huge even lying down. "They look huge even lying down!"

⑥ Thanksgiving Parade Morning

You get there early to beat the crowd. So does everyone else. "We're early. So is everyone else."

⑦ Thanksgiving Dinner

You save room for pie. Sort of. "I saved room for pie. Sort of."

⑧ Black Friday Math

Three bags later, the math gets fuzzy. "Did I save money if I bought three?"

What's your November aru aru? Tell me in the comments — see you in December!
